0391. Hole
Celebrity Skin

With their second album getting heavy pull by two tragic deaths, this third
album by Hole had a lot to live up to. And they actually did it.
This is less of the faux-bored trash-grunge from Live
Through This, and more of post-punk pop-rock, as well as better produced.
Even though some tracks are a bit too pop, like the Foo Fighters- sounding Awful and the obvious single Malibu, there's tracks like Northern Star, which I don't understand why it didn't get the single-treatment, it could have been Hole's Nothing Else Matters and propelled them into a permanent place on rock radio's metal ballad hour.
As this is also the last album released before Hole's breakup (don't worry, they have reunited since) I got to say they did a good job.
