0974. Madonna
Music
One of few people matching David Bowie in the redesign of self, the ever-changing Madonna adopted some kind of neo-country at the club at five o' clock in the morning vibe for this album's visuals and the sound for the single Don't Tell Me.
As this is club music for the 2000's and not the late nineties I have to say that this isn't as interesting as parts of Ray Of Light, but as this was her first return to the chart tops since (the better) Like A Prayer, over a decade earlier, it's of course mandatory for the ones interested in the longevity of popstars (the cover of American Pie is just horrible though).
For the ones more interested in dancing their ass off to good music this might be a bit too luke warm.
