Yet another album I can't figure out why it's on the list, Anita Baker's Rapture is a well produced R&B release, but I just don't feel it.

This is Baker's revenge album (as her previous label had stiffed her on royalties) and won her a couple of Grammys. And it's so boring I can hardly stay awake let alone keep my interest up for the full thirty seven minutes.

[Fact check: even the review in 1001 Albums You Must Hear… says the album was quickly forgotten, and I think it says something about its notability]
