When this came up I wondered what would happen if you pitted this album against ABBA's Waterloo? With the patented Gibbs' falsetto going up against the patented Björn & Benny melodies I would have expected quite a show.
That's until I listened to the album.

The lion's share of it is sentimental ballads with the B-side slightly better, starting with the title track, with a slump for three songs, returning in Lion In Winter with an outburst of emotion in an otherwise not that fascinating song.

But then they surprise me immensely. The last track, Walking Back To Waterloo, made it worth the pain of listening to tracks one through to ten. It's got a good bass, a discreet fuzzed guitar, and a longing (which always seems to tickle my fancies) over a simple few piano notes, bursting out in an enormous refrain and expanding the instrumentation for each verse.

A nice way to give the album a great ending.
