Sorry, but I cracked up when the first track started. Just such a surprise to hear the very structured chaos of the intro to the opening WRU. A track that's been compressed from sixteen minutes and some to a mere two minutes thirty-eight.
Yes, this is a this is a "versions" album of covers and I should actually have parallell listened to this and the original compositions, as I'm not too well versed in Ornette Coleman's output.
This is taking Coleman's avant-garde compositions and turning them a bit more experimental.
It's a strain for the ears, and it's quite interesting.
