I are disappoint.
It seems like when the Cocteau Twins left the Eighties they also left their sharp sound and went into something blander. Possibly due to the guitarists drug-dependecy and the lyrics (too) often revolving around the singer's newborn.
It sort of shimmers for a short time on Fifty-Fifty Clown, but unfortunately goes back into the guitar based pop instead of taking on the challenge left by Treasure: create a reverbed little masterpiece.
Is this friendship over?
