Either/Or

Oh man, I loved his last album, so it's hard for this one to live up to the hype, but as singer/songwriting go Either/Or is good stuff.

The whispered song's there and the night-terrors too as Elliott sings his angst (also love) and it's easy to lose yourself in this bit more than half an hour long record.

On a downward spiral of substance abuse, multi-instrumentalist Smith's third solo-album is not only superficially referential of Kirkegaard's existentialist tomes.

But it's oh, so enjoyable.
