Ooh! Roxy Music's back again! This time with their second album, and it's pretty much just as great as the others. Of course this doesn't mean I haven't got anything to say about it (even though I might be stalling a bit).
Ferry's got his quaver in place, Manzarek's guitar's on the level, and, well, everything's in place (though I'm not sure what to do with In Every Dream Home A Heartache as the lyrics are bro-ish, but what the heck - it's okay).
As this was Brian Eno's last album with the group it's fitting that he gets so much space on the final track, pretty much taking over the last minutes completely. That's not saying he's missing in the other tracks, cause there's a lot of electronics about.
Helluva band.
