Hotel California
Yep, the title track's a classic. With it's allegoric or hallucinatory narrative and nifty guitar picking there's just a few people who doesn't enjoy it. But the album doesn't contain so much more that I'd recommend for someone interested in hearing something (truly) good. Mostly it's tired and sentimental (broken) love analogies like New Kid In Town.
Even when they're faring into the harder rock with Victim Of Love and the (very) nice riff of Life In The Fast Lane it's always something that slows it down. And mostly it's the vocalist.
I think I'll just keep to playing Hotel California on my banjo rather than playing this album again.
