So... This was their last album? Also their second album? I'm not that amazed actually.
Back around when it was first released I might have been interested as it's a predecessor to bands like Fireside, but as it's far less intriguing I think not.
Forming out of the remnants of Pitchfork, Drive Like Jehu continued on the post-hardcore path, but adding emo / emocore to the flavour (and one of the earlier bands to do so). Five years later (after releasing this as their major label debut), they split and decided to go their separate ways.
One of the guys got successful with Rocket From The Crypt,
another one produced Blink 182 and a couple got actual day jobs.
As stated, I'm not so very impressed, but as part of the basis of
emo, I guess it's one to hear.
