"Is the 'save the world'-guy with the big hat, innit?"
Yep, the original hipster hippie. Well, actually he's called Jay Kay and the band's called Jamiroquai.
"Yeah, that's right! Whatever happened to them?"

Well, they released the debut, y'know, full of acid jazz and such and made it big, and then went on to slowly change both style and band members until the only original guy left was the founder, Kay, and the music was more of a disco groove (and I think he's actually gone soft on the whole "wearing big hats"-cause).

Acually the debut's a decent piece of work, but oh, so lyrically naïve. Or maybe it's more of a problem with Kay's delivery, as everything sounds sunshine and lollipops when he sings it, instead of the environmental doom that lies before us.
