0557. Gang Of Four
Entertainment!

Ah! Finally something that's overtly political!
I can't even remember how long it's been since an album
like this has passed through my ears.
The post-punk (a label explaining that it's punk with
more bass and crossing genres) band Gang Of Four's debut
has pretty much all I can ask for from an album: energetic,
hard, and well played music with a matching socio political
commentary.
The Brits know how to make (post) punk, even though this lot probably could have chosen a better name. I don't know if it was fitting or ironic that Natural's Not In It got into the Marie Antoinette-movie a couple of years ago, though.
