In The Court Of The Crimson King
As we step In The Court Of The Crimson King for the second time This time around the metal feel that appeared on Larks' Tongues In Aspic is sadly a bit missing here (appears on just about one track or so), but they still manage to put together an album of good music - a bit naïve lyricwise, but still. And well...
This wouldn't be a prog-rock album if it didn't have some of the prog rock embellishments. So of course there are the segments of very artsy and / or spontaneous playing as well as flute solo (always with the flute).
From the first track, 21st Century Schizoid Man, to the last, The Court Of The Crimson King, it's an album that's influenced everyone from Tool to Bad Religion to The Mars Volta. So, yeah, probably one you'd want to hear.
