Lust For Life
Lust For Life and The Passenger? Iggy Pop's second solo album (also the second produced by Bowie) is a kick-ass album indeed. There's just a couple of weak tracks (like Turn Blue, that could have been left out), and the good ones make it all worth it.
Cause this sounds just as fresh today as it (probably) did back when it was released and it's no shock that this is Pop's most popular album to date.
Honorable mention goes to Some Wierd Sin's got an infectious riff and melody, combined with craving lyrics. It, like Lust For Life and Passenger, a driving force that relentlessly overcomes any obstacle (like the heroin addiction that a large part of the albums lyrics deal with).
