This, as well as many other dance albums, suffer from the ambition to be at least an hour long, accepting tracks that both lack quality and differ from the patented formula of doing high-adrenaline dance tracks like Red Alert (their first hit and also maybe this debut's defining song).
On the other hand, one of the tracks that wouldn't have made the cut if it was a more unified and dance-oriented album is Same Old Show, and that would have been a shame. The sample from The Selecter's On My Radio is put through a lot, and it's actually a pretty cool song (but maybe that's just my nostalgia speaking).
Over all, this has got way more good tracks than it got bad ones, which makes it a good album for a friday night.
