Sheer Heart Attack
Once again it starts with circus music (this time, though, it's of the more cheerful variety, unlike Friday's entry), then some chick starts singing and I'm like "Okay, so who's this and when's Freddie gonna start?", just to go WWHOA when he seamlessly changes to an octave lower and continues with the male part of the young lovers-narrative.
In other words: boy can sing.
Also: band can play.
This is Queen's third album and also the album that launched them to international fame. Propelled in large by the massive hit Killer Queen, displaying many aspects of the then-evolving Queen-sound (and of later hits), Sheer Heart Attack is a very good blend of pop, rock, and drama.
