White Blood Cells

The monochromatic husband / wife (or are they brother and sister? noone knew and everybody cared) garage rock duo called The White Stripes made it big with their third album, and specifically the playful single Fell In Love With A Girl (animated in LEGOs).

Decidedly keeping it lo-fi they recorded and mixed the album in four days or so and while not all of the sixteen tracks are up to standard lyrically (the lyrics, by the way, were written over the course of the previous foru years), it's still pretty amazing that they got such a full sound with such a sparse setting, cause they really bring out the bass.

White Blood Cells is, with some exceptions, a fun little album.
