Tablas and breakbeats join together to form the base of the album considered the public start of the Asian electronica. And okay, I get it: it's traditional Indian music with a modern twist, or rather modern music with an Asian twist.
It doesn't, however, feel that very special as I'm pretty sure I've heard similar tracks since the mid-nineties (i.e. a couple of years before this album was recorded).
Anyway, it's a cool album whether you just want to chill out or bounce around to some d'n'b.
