He raps like a cartoon-character. It's like listening to Mickey Mouse on speed, with the hiccups and the ultimate East Londonian accent. Quite interesting in other words.
It's grime all over the place, not keeping to one single variant, but from beats with almost indistinguishable chaotic loops to big beats. The themes range from braggadocio to socially conscious and while I don't really like I Luv U and Jezebel that much, the rest of the album's damn good, with Fix Up, Look Sharp as the prime track.
Boy In Da Corner is pretty much the album that got grime a global audience, and it was well deserved. The same week the album dropped he got stabbed - allegedly due to acting like an ass - but luckily survived to both tour and release some more great tracks.
