fROMOHIO
They start the album by pulling a bait'n'switch: Riddle Of The Eighties starts with what sounds like an intro to something skate-punk-ish, but then abruptly jumps over into a country rock-type thing. A move that sets the tone for the majority of the album - expect the unexpected.
They sound like everything Vampire Weekend wants to be (i.e. without VW:s wussiness), blending genres and switching tempos like there was no tomorrow. At least for the first half of fROMOHIO, as the latter half evens out and while not becoming boring still less exciting.
