I am not impressed by this album.
Partly cause neither the lyrics or the music are that exceptional (rather a kind of silly "sex funk" (yep, that's what he dubbed it) that hasn't got a chance of turning on anyone I know), but mostly cause I frankly just do not like the mans voice. Sorry, I know he's regarded as an amazing singer, but that doesn't ring true for this album: it's too back-of-throat for me. Even though the final song, Make It Right, starts out real nice it quickly degrades into the same overly orchestrated slush as the previous six tracks.
If you want to listen to some good Tim Buckley songs I'd recommend the earlier stuff (like Pleasant Street from Goodbye And Hello), but not this load of clownings...
