Chocolate Cake was one of two songs off this album I'd heard before and since i both liked it since the first time I heard it (even though I was so young I didn't get the references) and it was the first track on Woodface it got my spirits up for the album. You know, it'd be stupid to throw out the best song the first thing you do. And well, they actually do, and then there's a whole lot of filler in between that one and the other hit from the album: Weather With You (which, by my account, is a rather boring crowd pleaser - albeit with some redeeming factors).

Then there's a whole lot more filler. Like the sleeping pill that is All I Ask sounds like they've read about Nat King Cole and then tried to emulate a style they've never actually heard. The boredom that ensues guarantees that I don't pay attention to neither lyrics nor music which makes it all just pass by like the Titanic in the night til it hits that ice berg of a hidden track and promptly sinks.

I think I got to have a word with my random page generator so it'll bring on something to put in the GotToGets, it's been too long now.
